Meet Ryan Wagner

Ryan Wagner is very passionate and enthusiastic about Firearms training. His ten years of Law Enforcement(Currently working as a full time certified Officer) experience combined with his previous 20+year profession of teaching/coaching aids in the delivery of vital information. Firearms ownership is a right, but you also have a responsibility to keep yourself proficient and safe with a tool meant to kill. The average gun fight is from approximately 3 yards, 3 rounds are fired, and done in 3 seconds. TAC gives you the tools to be better than average and increase your chances of surviving a threatening situation.

TAC Active Threat & Tactical / Trauma Medical seminar

Rated 5 out of 5
November 23, 2022

The TAC Active Threat & Tactical / Trauma Medical seminar was a great addition to our Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) seminars line up this year. I highly recommend Ryan and Grace from the TAC team for sharing their knowledge of wound management and other important things to know in the event of an active threat or any medical related trauma.

INTRODUCTION TO DEFENSIVE HANDGUN

I took this course with my 19 year old son and was very impressed and pleased with the course content. The course focused on gun safety (throughout the entire class), situational awareness, laws involving self defense and fire arms, proper hand gun stances and lots of live fire practice (I personally shot over 100 rounds of .38 special during the range time). We ended the day learning how to properly and safely clean our fire arms.
The class is a full day (8+ hours) commitment, but well worth the time as you will leave the class with a new sense of confidence.
The instructors, Mike and Ryan, are current law enforcement officers and fully invested in fire arms safety.
This class is highly recommended.

Intro to Defensive Handgun – Great education, safety lesson and fun!

August 30, 2022

Ryan and Mike provided a full day of great gun education. Entering the class, I was entirely new to operating a gun and I received patient and detailed instruction to move beyond my fear and insecurities with my handgun. I learned thorough mechanics and safety of gun handling. Although there were other students who had more experience, I received thoughtful attention throughout the day, to make progress during the dry fire to live fire training. The repetitive drills and ample time for questions, was exactly what I needed. I appreciated the constant and consistent safety rules reminders.

Two of our officers (including myself) just took the Tac Medical class. We were presented with a thorough and comprehensive learning atmosphere where we covered a lot of ground. All three instructors were knowledgeable and provided the skills we can immediately use if confronted with a medical emergency involving trauma. Thanks for a great class!
